The Story of Us
In 2010, the George and Neal families embarked on a Grand Adventure, opening the very first bike shop and café on the rim of the Grand Canyon. It was a dream we fought tooth and nail for—a miracle, really—when we secured the 10-year contract that made it all possible.
As our café flourished, we knew we needed great food to match the experience. At first, we sourced Grab ‘n’ Go bites from local vendors, but soon, we realized we could do it better ourselves. And so, in a tiny former gas station in Sunnyside, Flagstaff, Eat n’ Run was born.
From those humble beginnings, we shuttled a lot of food up to the Canyon. But then, something magical happened—a few curious locals wandered in for lunch… then a few more… until we had a full-blown following. Before we knew it, we had outgrown our little shop and landed on Route 66, where Eat n’ Run became a beloved community favorite. First for breakfast and lunch, then for our crave-worthy smoothies… and now, in 2024 as we close the chapter of Grand Canyon, we’ve turned the page to an exciting new chapter: dinner and gelato!
We’ve poured our hearts into every plate, every detail, and every corner of our space—adorning our walls with local art, murals of iconic landmarks, and nods to the spirit of Route 66. What began as a wild idea (from people who had absolutely no business being in the restaurant business) has grown into something truly special.
